B3313 Documentation : The Weirdest Super Mario 64 Rom Hack
First of all, the startup screen,
In Super Mario 64, there is no Nintendo Logo intro like in Super Mario World or Super Mario World 2 : Yoshi's Island.
But, in B3313, This specific element as been added, with a little Coin sound effect, like, to repeat myself, in Super Mario World or Super Mario World 2 : Yoshi's Island.
The mentionned Nintendo Logo is presented as red, on a black background doing a pretty similar animation to the one in Super Mario World ( Appearing instantly, then fading away after the coin sound effect ).
Next, the title screen of B3313 is, mostly, the exact same as the one is Super Mario 64,
The main differences are the "PRESS START" text that uses a different font compared to Super Mario 64's and the music used is a different version of the actual title theme using different percussions, other than that, the music itself is the same. And the fact that Mario's voice is different, more on that later.
Next, the file select screen,
In B3313, the "Mario A" text is replaced with "File A".
The music played on this screen is also slightly different compared to the original ;
- The music is a slowed-down and, overall scarier version of the "File Select" theme.
- It also as minor instrument changes, but I am not able to go in further details.
